Story District is excited to join forces with Mortified DC for a night of absolute mortification at the DC Improv!
Mortified stars everyday adults sharing their most embarrassingly real teenage diary entries, poems, love letters, and locker notes…in front of total strangers. In this collaboration, we will alternate between Mortified-style first-hand readings and Story District-style true tales (with no notes). Though the format is different, the take-away is the same: adolescence is confusing and challenging, but with time and maturity, it makes for hilarious material.
Story District teaches people how to tell great stories on stage, in life, and at work. Called the “gold standard in storytelling” by the Washington Post, Story District has been nurturing new talent in the DMV since 1997.
